Yes, on the head there are three groups of lymph nodes - parotid, occipital, submandibular. Inflammation of the lymph nodes in the neck can be due to the following reasons: - an infectious process in the body (general - flu, cold, local - otitis, sinusitis, etc.) - a general decrease in immunity after various injuries, burns, large blood loss, prolonged fasting (particularly after strict diets), hypothermia, infectious (infectious mononucleosis, rubella, HIV infection) or chronic diseases; - oncological diseases.
